This was maybe one of the good decisions of pakistani government as it is notorious for not thinking of national interests but personal interests of their own.
The talks for formal recognition and establishing relations started on 30 august when foreign minister of Armenia Ararat mirzoyan and deputy prime minister and foreign minister of Pakistan Ishaq dar made a phone call.
formal relations were established through a joint communique between the two officials during the shanghai cooperation organization summit 2025 in Tianjin , China.
This could happen mainly because on 8 august , Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement was signed which settled the Artsakh conflict and so there no major reason remained for Pakistan to keep ignoring Armenia's existence.......... As azerbaijan itself recognizes Armenia
This recognition also means that the citizens of both countries can travel to each other country now , once the visa guidelines and embassies or consulates are officially established !
